About the comedians: Mike Peters, a Binghamton comedian, specializes in self-deprecating, observational humor. A contributor for Funny or Die, Peters performed at the Funny Bone in Syracuse, the Greenwich Village Comedy Club in New York City, won the Utica Brews Laugh Contest and Uptown Roast Battle and opened for Super Troopers’ Rabbit, Erik Stolhanske and Gilbert Gottfried. Peters produces shows all over New York and hosts his weekly podcast, On the Mic with Mike Peters.
The funniest Ethiopian you've ever met, Abdul Hadi is a favorite in Syracuse. He won the Comedy and Chill competition in Syracuse and brings a pleasant mix of self-deprecating humor and a love of the finer things in life -- like Cinnamon Toast Crunch. Hadi is able to make even the simplest things in life funny.
A regular host at the Funny Bone in Syracuse, RJ McCarthy has been one of the hardest-working comedians in the state over the last five years. A Syracuse native, McCarthy works all around New York and was in the Asheville Comedy Festival in North Carolina. He’s performed at the Albany Funny Bone, the Helium Comedy Club in Buffalo, hosted the Binghamton Comedy Crawl in 2018 and featured in 2019. He’s bright, quick on his feet and always hilarious.
Justin Jackson is one of the strongest comedians in the Syracuse area. A regular host at the Funny Bone, Jackson performed at the Cape Fear Comedy Festival in Wilmington, N.C., hosted the 2019 Binghamton Comedy Crawl and has worked in Michigan and South Carolina. During his circuitous journey across the country, Jackson has delighted audiences all over with his clever takes on the world around him.
